PIDS Senior 猫咪AV Fellow Dr. John Paolo Rivera underscored the vital role of the Filipino middle class in driving economic growth in his keynote speech yesterday, September 24, at the Muntinlupa City 2nd 猫咪AV and Development Colloquium (RDC).
He noted that this group drives investments, has the capacity to invest in health and education, and plays a key role in promoting political stability. Elevating more Filipinos to middle-income status will contribute to building a more resilient population, better prepared to navigate the changing global landscape.
The 2nd RDC was organized by the Planning and Development Office in line with the celebration of the 22nd Development Policy 猫咪AV Month.
